When is the library open?

The library is open during term time:

Monday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Tuesday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Wednesday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm

Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

How many books can I borrow?

Kindergarten – 2 books

Years 1 &2 – 3 books

Years 3 & 4 – 4 books

Years 5 & 6 – 5 books

Years 7 -9 – 6 books

Years 10-12 – 10 books

Staff – unlimited

How long can I borrow a book for?

Books are loaned out for 2 weeks but can be renewed if there are no other students waiting for the book.

Do you have e-books available?

Yes. They can be accessed through the ‘Wheelers eplatform’ app or through the website Check out the instructions to find out more. They are automatically deleted from your device once they are overdue.

Can I borrow in the school holidays?


We don’t want to get the books to get lonely when the students are away on holidays.

A book I borrowed is overdue. Will I be fined?

No. You will receive an automatically generated email when the books is 10 days overdue to help you remember to return it. You can renew your book online at or come into the library. If you have had the book for a long time you will get a email telling you that you are going to be fined but you will have lots of time to contact us.

Can I study in the library after school?

The library is open after school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during term time. Students in Year 7 and above are allowed to stay in the library after school if they are studying quietly. Students in the Junior School and Gawura must be accompanied by a caregiver and cannot be left alone.

How do I get access to the computers?

You can just come in and login in with your student username (eg. HPotter20) and password.

Can I print in the library?

Yes, you can. Log into the computers and print. Collect your printing from the library photocopier by scanning your student card and selecting what you wish to print.

How do I know what is available in the library collection?

Browse our online library catalogue, or please come in and chat to one of our librarians.

I have a reluctant reader. Can you help me?

Yes. We have lots of recommendations on the ‘Reading’ page.

My child is participating in the NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge. Can you help me?

How do I access the school databases for my research?

We have a variety of databases for different age groups which are excellent to help you with your assignments. Go to our ‘Resources’ page on the website and check out the ‘SACS database guides’ for more information.

How do I access Clickview?

Clickview is a video streaming service for schools. It can be accessed from home using your school email address and password. Further instructions can be found on our ‘Clickview’ page.

Do you have books for staff and parents?

Yes. We have a collection of popular books that staff and parents might be interested in reading. Ask our helpful library staff if you are interested.
