Learning Spaces
Spaces can be booked on Edumate by staff, or by contacting library staff.
JUNIOR SCHOOL LIBRARY: Situated on Level 7 of SAH, this space is used for browse and borrow classes daily. Students can also use the area during lunch or afternoon tea. Various seating options available.
JUNIOR SCHOOL PICTURE BOOKS: Beautiful area at the front of the library, suitable for class reading. Seating pads for students, and teachers reading chair.
MIDDLE SCHOOL READING AREA (S421A): Seating for 24 students, situated near the non-fiction collection. Two screen with access to Apple TV or laptop connection for staff. Can be used in conjunction with the two study rooms next to space. Beanbags and other seating options available.
MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHING AREA (S421B): Seating for 30-40 students, including Apple TV and Laptop connection to screen, and five computers. Can be in conjunction with S421C to create a larger area.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CAFE AREA (S421C): Seating for 15 students, plus 12 along the wall. Can be used for events including food, and can be in conjunction with S421B to create a larger area.
MIDDLE SCHOOL LECTURE ROOM (S415): Green room filming facilities, as well as theatre style moveable seating with projector screen. Also a lectern, great for speeches or films.
MIDDLE SCHOOL COLLABORATION SPACE (S419): Used in conjunction with our Director of Innovation, Mrs Bailey, this space is a breakout space and meeting room for innovative projects and groups.
MIDDLE SCHOOL READING AREAS: Scattered throughout the library, with various seating options for students. Classes can spread out and use these areas when booking any of our library spaces.
SENIOR SCHOOL STUDY ROOMS: 4 individual study rooms, with seating for 4 in each, perfect for small group study
SENIOR SCHOOL SEATING: plenty of seating options throughout the Research Centre for students to use.
JUNIOR SCHOOL MEETING ROOM: Seating for 15-20 students, with a screen, also features Green Screen facilities.
